Leelanau County Getaway

View from our room balcony
This area is the pinkie of Michigan---much more interesting, if I say so myself, than the thumb. We left early Sunday morning and went to Isadore (just north of Cedar) where our rental property is located, then on to Suttons Bay and Northport, hiking all along the way. At 3 pm we checked into our accommodations at Falling Waters Lodge in Leeland and then biked and hiked and ate at a wonderful restaurant just across the river from the Lodge, then more hiking and a good night's sleep listening to the roar of the water going over the dam. Here are some pics that will give us better memories of this most enjoyable mini-vacation.
