The Good Life

Life is best when it's routine and nothing too exciting happens. We've been busy at the Gardens adding to our sculpture garden with a large drift-wood sculpture and re-decorating the Garden House and Apple House. Last Sunday we biked north on the White Pine Trail for some 2 hours. By the time we got home we had clocked more than 45 miles---tired but feeling good. We went to the Circle Theatre on Wed. night to see "Boeing, Boeing," a French farce, lots of fun. In between we managed to catch visits with John's Mom and Mom Kraker. Then tonight we drove 10 miles west of town for dinner with Sarah, John, and the kids, minus Mitch who was at football practice. Tomorrow we're back at the Gardens (usually the busiest day of the week) and Sunday to church and then mid afternoon out near Lake Michigan for an afternoon boat ride and dinner with our friends Lois and Murray (John's buddy in elementary school).
