Wakulla Springs State Park

Here are some pics of the lodge were we stayed last night and are staying again tonight, also a picture of me by the river out front. Last time we were here we took the glass-bottom boat trip---saw all kinds of wonderful wildlife. Today it was too cloudy for the boat to go.
This morning we took a six-mile walk through woodland trails, had some lunch in our room, and then left for a fifty mile drive, ending in Apalachicola, where we had dinner on the deck overlooking the Bay. On the way there, we saw a wonderful old bus once used by the Posey Catering Service. and later as we were entering East Point on route 98 came across a wonderful series of structures, that turned out to be owned by Lamar. He gave us a tour all through the back yard. What a wonderful spot and a great artist. To see more pics,  click here.
