The temperature rose to nearly 60 degrees today so we took what may be our last bike ride for the season---less than an hour but very pleasant indeed. Friday night we stayed over at the Gardens as we often do, and yesterday was a busy day with a lot of shoppers coming by. John snuck off at 3 pm to catch granddaughter Ashley's dance performance. I was sorry to miss it but Saturdays are always the busiest day of the week; fortunately Alex, my part-time partner, was on hand to help out. Late this afternoon we went to Kayla's holiday Girls Choral Academy concert. She sang a solo this year and she nailed it---didn't sound like she was at all nervous. Here she is with Laura, a good friend since grade school, who also sang a solo.
