We are now back home from a wonderful trip to North Carolina to see daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Bob, and from there on to Gatlinburg, Kentucky where we hiked and spent the night; then on to one of our favorite places, Cumberland Falls, where we did some more hiking and spent the night in the lodge, and finally on to Indianapolis, where I gave a lecture, and then on home again. We stopped along the way and purchased some treasures to sell at the Gardens. Below are photos of John, Laura, and Bob, and one of me looking at the beautiful Cumberland Falls.
Living along the bank of the Grand River on Abrigador Trail, we are now official river rats--meaning that we live in a floodplain. But the term means more than that since my initials spell rat--and the reflections are ones both in my mind and on the water.
