SUMMER IN MICHIGAN
We set a record today of 91 degrees--a bit hot for my tastes but I don't complain when the calendar says fall. We were out on a moonlight kayaking venture last night and again tonight. Saturday night we joined friends and neighbors at a house several doors down river for a bonfire, food, and folk music. What fun. Life is just too good.
Living along the bank of the Grand River on Abrigador Trail, we are now official river rats--meaning that we live in a floodplain. But the term means more than that since my initials spell rat--and the reflections are ones both in my mind and on the water.

UPDATE AND OVERVIEW
It was a year ago yesterday that my story went public. What a year it has been! For a 1-year reflection on My Calvin Seminary Story, go to this site.
